Disposition of Land from Chalkley's:
- Page 491.--20th November, 1771. Joseph Carroll, only surviving son and heir of William Carroll, deceased, late of Frederick County, and Mary ( ) to John Alderson, Jr., £25, on Stroud's branch between Smith's Creek and the Peaked Mountain, corner another survey of William Carroll's; being 158 acres patented to William 16th August, 1756; also at same place, a tract called Carroll's Meadow; corner survey belonging to Zebulon Harrison, crossing Daniel James' Branch, containing 265 acres patented to Wm. Carroll, 10th September, 1752. Delivered: John Alderson, 27th November, 1774.
