Present at hearing are "Elizabeth Allen (a daughter of said dec'd by his said wife Martha)" and "Daniel Dean admitted attourney for Mercy another daughter by a former [wife]", "which said 2 daughters are the only heirs at Law of s'd deces'd Joseph Allen". Will of "Joseph Allen of Rehoboth", dated 2 Jun 1709, mentions "three Daughters Namly Marcy. Ruth. & Elizabeth Allen"; "wife Martha Allen"; "Brother Benja: Allen of Watertown" sole executor.
