Physician & Surgeon; Affiliations: Religious, Fraternal and Political. He was educated at Bedford Normal School, and followed teaching for several years. He then took up medicine and graduated at Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, PA. He located at Shennendoah, PA and was elected Superintendant of Hospital near Ashland, PA. He enjoyed being the most successful surgeon in the state, filling the position up to the time of, July 12, 1923; 33yrs. He was a Regimental Surgeon of the 8th Regular National Guard of Pennsylvania.
