[Note: census records show two woman married Jonathan Wheelers of about the same age: Jonathan and Deborah in Concord, versus Jonathan and Mary A. in Acton. Two different genealogies by Wheeler, and by Todd, appear to have matched this Jonathan to different wives. The marriage presented here in Wheeler appears incorrect. Mary A. Wheeler is living with no husband, only her daughter, in Acton in 1880, her husband having died in early 1880, son of "Hannah Wheeler", whereas this Jonathan lived until 1889, as is known since his parents are given on the death record. Thus, Todd appears correct. The origins of the other Jonathan, husband of Mary Angeline Baker, are unclear, but by appearances, he may have been illegitimate, hence the difficulty in discerning those origins.]
