link Jonathan Haynes was deposed 25 Sept 1682, and was "aged about thirty-six years" [so born about 1646]. Since reported birth year of 1616, which appears to come from NEHGR article by a descendant (p. 9:349) is ridiculous given marriage in 1674 and other life events, one can only assume it is miscopy of 1646. Marriage to Mary Moulton reported 1 Jan 1674, presumably 1 Jan 1674/75, and marriage to sister Sarah on 30 Dec 1674 are also ridiculous, including that some sources say Mary d. 1664, and so concludes that Jonathan's marriage to "Mary" probably represents an error by the town clerk of Newbury. There is no evidence Jonathan married more than once, to Sarah.

link Contains a detailed analysis of deeds printed in Source:Essex Institute Historical Collections (Essex Institute Press), vol. 54, which shows (in summary) William Haynes of Salem married Sarah Ingersoll, d/o Richard (Richard's will named son-in-law William Haines). Richard's property is conveyed by the children of Jonathan Haynes along with other heirs of Richard Ingersoll, showing that Jonathan was an heir of William.
