Mr. J. Wade Isley

GRAHAM - Mr. Johnnie Wade Isley, 88, of 112 W. Gilbreath St., died at 9:40 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, 1998, at Presbyterian Home of Hawfields after several years of failing health.

A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Mrs.. Frances Euliss Isley, who survives, and the son of Mr. Lemuel M. Isley and Mrs.. Callie Coble Isley, both deceased. He was retired from Kayser-Roth Hosiery and was a member of Andrews Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors other than his wife of Graham include two daughters, Mrs.. Patsy Allen and Mrs.. Deborah Edwards, both of Graham; two sons, Mr. Johnny Frank Isley of Charlotte and Mr. Joel Scott Isley of Kansas City, Mo.; a brother, Mr. Garr C. Isley of Burlington; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Andrews Memorial Baptist Church by Dr. Tommy Willis, pastor, and Mr. Joel Isley. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park, Burlington, Alamance County, North Carolina.

The family will be at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 7 to 9 this evening, and at other times at the home.
