    Regarding Thomas Wilder (his father): 'There are named in his will, his wife Ann, and children Mary, Thomas, John, Elizabeth, Nathaniel, and Ebenezer. None of these were born in Lancaster.'

    He fled to Charlestown during the Indian war. It is not known that he returned to Lancaster, but he is supposed to have resided there. The time of his death is unknown. He was one of the original proprietors of the town of Worcester, but it is not known that he ever resided there.
