Argues that John is the eldest son of Edward, and came with his father to Chelmsford about 1654. He was made a freeman 11 Mar 1689-90.
[Note: see TAG article, which "add to and correct the Spalding Memmorial". In particular, in the Spalding Memorial, the second marriage of John the father is incorrectly given to John the son, even though John the son has a probate that mentions his first wife Ann, ruling out a second marriage.]
