May be the John bap. Abernyte in 1758, father John. A message board post says there's a matching 1746 marriage Inchture to an Elspeth PETRIE NB Elizabeth b. 1786 included in the family even though her mother given in index, and in record, as Elizabeth Donaldson, rather than Susan, but as they were shown as being of Balindean, as was John & Susan's son John, the assumption is that the Minister got a bit confused.
