He was freem. 1677, ar. co. 1680, its capt. 1685, rep. 1683-6. of the Comtee. of safety on the revo. against Andros, nam. in the new chart. of the Council, but by pop. vote chos. bef. and so contin. to 1716, col. of the milit. treas. of the Prov. Judge of the County Ct. and such serv. were successiv. enjoy. by him. Ind. deed to Lawson, Spencer and Lake in 1653. … Wyman's 'Charlest.,' p. 740, states that he d. 20 Mar. 1725-6, ag. 90 [error for 94], and had two wives and ch., incl. Capt. John, who depos. in 1754, ±80 (d. 4 Nov. 1756 in 83d yr.), that when 12 yrs. old he went with fa. to Sagadahoc, alias Parker's Isl., named for Thos. Parker, mate of the first ship that came with the Plymouth people from Eng., uncle of his own fa., and fa. of Thos. Parker who then liv. on the Isl. (York Files Oct. 1754). … He and younger br. Henry, Esq., sold in Falm."
