John,4 (Lakin) d. before Mar. 1696-7, leaving a widow Sarah, but clearly no children. He is only known by casual mention in deed vol. 13, p. 58, which shows that his father had established him on certain land designed to be his own property ultimately, but never formally conveyed to him. On his death, the deed explains it was intended that the widow should enjoy said land until she remarried, but she is not later found.
