Kutztown Patriot Death Abstracts John K. Kline died at home in Fleetwood, age 77 years 6 months and 8days, Saturday. Surviving are sons James at home, Adam near Fleetwood,Isaac B. of Kutztown, Samuel of Calcium and daughters Mrs. Kate Annmiller of Reading, Mrs. Mary Bloch of Ruscombmanor, Mrs. Sarah Weidner ofFleetwood and Hannah at home. Surviving is a brother Daniel (David) ofFleetwood, and sister Mrs. Kate Ann Dumm of Ohio. Burial St. Paul'sCemetery.

Served in the Union Army during the Civil War for which he later receiveda pension. He applied for the pension as an invalid on june 23 1879Application # 294019 given certificate 387-185 He had a lose of hearingin his left ear. He served from Oct 27 1862 to Aug. 8, 1863 with Co K ofthe One Hundred and Sixty Seventh regiment.
