I do have some family who were of the Kerr line and were in

Lancaster,PA.

My earliest Kerr ancestor was John Kerr Sr, born either in Ireland, or in Lancaster, PA 1745. He was married to Mary Dougherty or Doherty 16 Sep 1765 in Cumberland, PA. His son, John M. Kerr Jr, was born in Chambersburg, Franklin, MA on 15 Oct 1772. He died in Green twp, Gallia,OH, 2 Oct 1858.

John Sr. died in Cumberland, PA, 2 Oct 1807.

I have not had very good luck on tracing my Kerr line beyond John Sr. There are to biographies on the Kerr family that I found usefull, one by Edythe Kahn and one by Peg Hettrick

Regards, Robert
