An historical plaque has been erected at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church to the memory of brothers John Jacob and Michael Keffer. This is Historical Plaque of York County #28 erected by the Ontario Archaeological and Historic Sites Board and can be viewed on Canadian Headstones.

There is another plaque mentioning the family in front of the town hall in Richmond Hill, Ontario.
