    His will, dated 3 Jan. 1767, proved 29 Jan. 1767, gave to his wife during her widowhood; realty to sons John, Samuel and Josiah, the first two to be executors; three daughters (not named), the youngest under 21. Witnesses: John Granger, John Burbank, Miriam Hale. The three sons divided the real estate, 6 Sept. 1774."
