  1. 1 WILLIAM GILLESPIE was born Bet. 1715 - 1720 in Scotland or Ireland, and died Abt. 1801 in Possibly Pendleton Dist. South Carolina. He married MARY.

Residence: 1746, Lived along Cowpasture River near present-day Clifton Forge, VA.

  1. 2 JOHN GILLESPIE was born Abt. 1754, and died Apr. 07, 1822 in E. Fork Transylvania Co. North Carolina. He married JANE HARVEY Aug. 13, 1779 in Botetourt Co. VA.

Burial: the hilltop cemetery at East Fork in Transylvania Co., NC. Occupation: Gun Maker Residence: Mills River community of Henderson Co.
