Later, to correct this mistake, Mary Sedlak Gambol had to sign an affidavit to testify that her son, John Gambol, was the same person as male child Cambal on Ohio birth certificate number 23670. She signed this affidavit in front of Notary Public A. M. Sotak in Cuyahoga County, 6 May 1941.

His obituary can be found in the Cleveland Plain Dealer, 5 Mar 1976, p 1, according to the Cleveland Public Library's necrology file. slw

Date of death - the Wednesday before March 5, 1976. Cleveland Plain Dealer obit lists that The Saint John Funeral Home in Bedford hosted his calling hours and a service was held at Holy Trinity Church in Bedford. slw
