unmarried Left several minor children at his death His brother William signed forthe inheritance for the minor children from Mary Corbit nee Brinton Relative David Brinton. Executor Daniel Corbit(II)'s will "rec'd 4 mo 21 1775 of Edward Brinton the sum of Fifty Pounds, being myfull portion and share of the one sixth part of Three Hundred Pounds dueto my mother Mary Corbit (deceased), Given by her Father William Brintonin his Lifetime for her own Separate use as set forth by the aboveInstrument in Writing(The Interest due thereon being fully paid to her inher Lifetime.) And I do hereby Acquit and fully discharge the said EdwardBrinton his Heirs, Executors and Administratin from all dues & DemandsWhatever touching or Concerning the said one sixth part of the aboveMentioned Sum of Three Hundred Pounds as Witness my hand the Day and yearabove written Johnathan Corbit Witness Present "Edward Darlington Susanna Daugherty" Similar receipts were signed by the other four children of Mary Corbit -- Mary Wilson, William, Daniel and Israel with William signing for theshare of the deceased brother John's Children.
