Facts and Events
The will of Francis Rochester dated 7 May 1748 called his daughter Ann Comigges. The administration of Francis Rochester dated 7 Feb 1749 lists Ann Comegys, wife of John Comegys.
Conclusive evidence as to the parents of John is lacking. However, Nathaniel the assumed father, owned 60 acres of Shepards Redoubt. John purchased 200 acres more and later sold 300 acres of it. He apparently had obtained Nathaniel's portion of the land by inheritance. Also, John named his son Nathaniel and a daughter Jane. Both of these lead to the conclusion that John is the son of Nathaniel & Jane Seth.
