Massachusetts vital records for Brookline include the marriage of John and Abigail and the births of their children Abigail, Elizabeth, Elizabeth, Abigail, George, and John. At some point they moved to Fairlee VT where they both died with VT vital records giving their ages at death. That much seems solid.
The Coburn genealogy may have mixed up several of the Johns in the 1700s. According to this book, John #297 m. Abigail CHILD and was s/o John #120. But the 1753 birth date of John #297 means he was barely 17 to marry in 1771. And if John #297 was 81 in 1824, he was born about 1743 which fits with the son of John #53 and wife Deborah GODDARD.
