!1759: Inherited Lamb's Creek Plantation from his father John Champe. The plantation is 5.6 miles northwest of King George, VA. From King George go 5.6 miles northwest on Route #3. The house in on the north side of the highway. The house was built in 1854. Will Book 1, p. 154
