  4.   There is an indexed record that indicates the John Dwight Brown b. 1804 died in 1808. There is no other John D. Brown apparent, and the age at death suggests this is an error. Further confusion is caused by the apparent mis-identification of the father on the death record. However, the actual death record in 1808 appears to belong to a different John Brown, suggesting things were as the Dwight Genealogy says.
