Notes from Sadie Hosler LaNore state that Jane and John Bresett's children were Joe, John, Peat, Oshel and Jane (Sadie's grandmother). Pioneer Notes states that there were five children and that three went to the war and only one returned. If the siblings we have identified as possibilities are correct, there is no record that any of them served in the Civil War. However, grandchildren did. If we have identified the right family in 1830 census, there were two older females, sisters?.
