Johann Nicholas Blanckenbühler married Apollonia Käffer in Neuenbürg on 6 May 1714. Two children were born in Neuenbürg:

Maria Barbara Blanckenbühler, b. 22 Dec 1714, d. the next day

Zacharias Blanckenbühler, b. 21 Oct 1715

Will of John Nicholas Blankenbaker

• Pages 284-86. Will of John Nicholas Blankenbeeckler of the Parish of St. Mark in the County of Orange being sick and weak in body, dated 10 Aug. 1743.

Unto my beloved wife Appellonias Blankenbeekler one hundred acres of land with the plantation whereon I now do live and as I do possess two more tracts of lands the one tract containing four hundred acres, the other tract containing three hundred arees.

To my son Zacharias Blankenbeekler two hundred acres to be taken off from the above said tract of hour hundred acres. Also one mare three years of age together with a saddle and bridle, as also one gun.

Unto my son Jacob Blankenbeekler my tract of one hundred and sixty five acres of land whereon I now do dwell to be possessed by him (after the decease of my above mentioned loving wife Appellonia). Also one mare three years of age with a saddle and bridle as also one gun.

Unto my son Zacharias Blankenbeekler sixteen shillings in money, Also unto my son Michael Blankenbeekler sixteen shillings in money, after the decease of my above said wife).

Unto my daughter Ursula (now married unto John Zimerman) fifteen pounds and five shillings in money after the death of my wife.

Unto my daughter Dorothea (wife of Laurence Gare) eleven pounds and eleven shillings in money after the death of my wife.

All my effects equally divided amoungst all my above mentioned children, yet after the decease of my above said loveing wife Appellonia.

My dear friend Jacob Broil and my eldest son Zacharias Blankenbeekler executore.

We the subscribers testify the two paragraphs that were crossed out on the other side of this present will was done by order and by the desire of the testator. 11 Aug. 1743.

Unto my son Michael Blankenbeekler two hundred acres of land from my tract of hour hundred acres. Also one mare three years of age with a saddle and bridle and one gun.

Unto my daughter Elizabeth Blankenbeeker my tract of three hundred acres of land. Also ten pounds current money to be delivered at the day of her marriage in household goods.

I as a loving father to all my children have taken great care to divide the whole of my estate equally.

It is my desire that they behave themselves dutifully to my wife Appellonia as their dear mother.

My dear friend Jacob Broil and my eldest son Zacharias Blankenbeekler executors.
