I have a William Benson, b. abt 1780, who was son of Leven and Jane. He married Rebecca Craig, 1802 in Greenbrier Co., VA. The marriage fits with that of his brother John who married Ann Craig, 1806 in Greenbrier Co. Ann was born about 1784 in VA, the daughter of William Craig. Ann's daughter Nancy, who marrie John Terry in 1826, would name her first born daughter, Ann Craig Terry.
