John Howard Aley was born on 24 January 1889. In June, 1915 he married Vernal Mills, daughter of Orville and Emma Mills. Vernal was born on 6 December 1893 and died on 19 November 1950. John died on 1 September 1960. Vernal and John are buried in North Cedar Creek Cemetery in Cedar Vale, Kansas. John was usually called by his middle name, Howard. They had no children.
