Alshite, John C. - entered service 1777 in Page County (then Shenandoah County*), Virginia; born on Smith's Creek, Shenandoah [then Frederick] County, Virginia, 12/23/1755; granted Pension Page County, Virginia, 1832. R27.
  • - Shenandoah County was established in 1778, it replaced Dunmore County, which was formed in 1772 from part of Frederick County, Virginia, which was established in 1738.
