Will of Johan Ludwig Zirkle

In the name of God. Amen. The Twenty Eight day of 8 bris 1746. I being sick and weak in body, but of perfect mind and memory Thanks be given unto God, therefore calling to mind the mortality of my Body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament That is to say - principally and first of all I give and recommend my Soul into the Hands of God who gave it and for my Body I recommend it to the Earth to be buried in a Christian like and decent manner at the discretion of my Executor nothing doubting that at the General Ressurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God and as touching such worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life, I give devise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form
Imprimis it is my Will and I do order that in the first place my Wife Maria Eva is to have all my Estate both Real and Personalities till my youngest child are twelve years old.
Item after my decease my Loving Executors hereafter named is to have full power to Sell all my Real and Personalities if they find it necessary as if I was present to pay all my just debts and funeral charges be paid and satisfied and the remaining part of money is to be put one Interest by my Executors
Item Maria Eva my Loving Wife is to have the Furth of all, the two Furths amongst my children in Equal share, Except my Eldest Son George Henry is to have for his portion Twenty Five Pounds weil hewend four years before his Each to learn a Treath to be paid when he have set up for himself.
Item if my Wife shall marry, then all my Estate is to be sold by my Executors afternamed.
Item I give to my Trusty Friend Peter Snider and my well beloved Wife Maria Eva whom I likewise Constitute make and ordain my sole Executors of this my Last Will and Testament all and singular in presents In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my Hand and Seal on the day and year above written.
