Death 8.2.56 noted in margin. Death Record: @78y/1m/15d; hlg. Ehmann, Overbeck, widower. Leaves 3 sons & 4 daus, grown. (Roege reported that the year is smudged on the 8 Feb 1856 death record and it could be 71 or 78 years old.) Some of Fred's notes said Hermann Adolph, b. 03 Jun 1784, and for the marriage date he said, "buch verloren" lose the old book. Regarding the birth date of 03 Jun 1784 for Hermann Adolph Kotterheinrich that Hartmut Stienecker relayed to Fred Katterhenry: Roege found a death record for Hermann Adolph Kotterheinrich for Sep 1795, age 11 Y 3 M = June 1784 birth. Doris Katterhenry, another avid researcher of the Katterheinrich families from Ladbergen, also studied the microfilm of the Ladbergen Church Records many years before Bill Roege did, and she also gives a death date for this Johann Herm. Adolph (b. 3 Jun 1784) as 07 Sep 1795. Roege's research shows 24 Dec 1777 as the birthdate of the father of JHW Katterheinrich (b. 26 Jul 1810), our immigrant ancestor. Roege reported that the year is smudged on the 8 Feb 1856 death record and it could be 71 or 78 years old. Hartmut Stienecker may have read the age as 71, while Bill Roege and Doris Katterhenry both read it as 78. A death date of 8 Feb 1856, at the age of 78 Y 1 M 15 D, equals a birth of 24 Dec 1777. A death date of 8 Feb 1856, at the age of 71 Y 1 M 15 D, equals a birth of 24 Dec 1784. References
