"Johanna, b. Sept. 1678, d. at Stratfield, 28 Jan. 1761 in 84 yr. (g. s.); m. (1) John Sherwood; m. (2) Oct. 1721 [error for 1701], Thomas Hawley. In 1698 Johannah Sherwood, widow of John of Fairfield, conveyed to brother Thomas Bennett of Stratford, land from father Ephraim Booth, dec'd. In 1712 Thomas and Johannah Hawley conveyed one-third of land from father Ephraim Booth, excepting dower of widow Mary Benit, widow of Ephraim Booth."
