  3. Source:Hazen, Henry Allen. History of Billerica, Massachusetts : With a Genealogical Register, p. 95 says, Jesse, s/o Jesse , m. (1) Mary ---, and m. (2) 30 Dec 1802 Abigail Baldwin. This seems incorrect since Abigail d. 1825 age 69 as the widow of Jesse. Instead, she was probably the third wife of the father Jesse.

    In 1805, Thomas Kittredge's will indicates his daughter Mary was not living with her husband Jesse Manning out of choice, indicating they probably were still married, hence Jesse would not be remarrying in 1802.
