!He lived first in Uxbridge and then in Whitchurch; he next went to Tecumseh and lastly to Scott Twp. where he died at the age of 76. He was of tall slight figure; he was in the British army during the war of 1812 and took part in several battles. He was also engaged in the Rebellion of 1837 where he lost his rifle, but escaped being caught.
