    Jeanette Augusta "Nettie" Meacham Milks

    Daughter of Daniel Meacham and Emily Bowen. Wife of David Milks. Her nickname was Nettie.

    Mrs. Augusta Milks. Mrs. Augusta Milks, wife of David Milks of Killbuck died at the family home Monday noon following a prolonged illness, at the age of 59 years. She was born at Mansfield and practically her entire life was spent in this part of Cattaraugus County, the last three years having lived at Killbuck and for five years previous at Ellicottville.

    She is survived by her husband, five daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Williams of Great Valley, Mrs. Jenny Winsor of Delevan, Mrs. George Webster of Franklinville, Mrs. Helen Chapman of Franklinville, Mrs. Georgia Terhune of Salamanca, one stepdaughter, Mrs. Chloe Christian of Expedit, PA., two sons, Glenn Milks and Hastings Milks at home; four sisters, Mrs. Chandler Chamberlain,Machias, Mrs. May Leyman, West Valley, Mrs. Frank Chamberlain, Little Valley, and Mrs. Peter Williams, Springville, and one brother Lewis Meacham of Machias.

    A prayer service will be held from the family home at Killbuck Thursday morning at 10:30 after which the funeral party will go to the UB church at Great Valley where the funeral will be held at one o'clock, Rev. Baker officiating. The Ladies of the Maccabees of Great Valley Tent will attend in a body after which internment will be made in the family plot of Chamberlain Cemetery nearby.
