BIRTH-MARRIAGE-CHILDREN: Aresnault, H&G, p. 1496, born 1683. Own entry in Arsenault, H&G, p. 1497, gives "dit LE VIEUX," marriage and children. Wife parents' names disputed in Jehn's C&A, where they say "possibly daughter of."

!CENSUS: 1686, Port Royal, Acadia, [p. 19]. Jean, age 2 years, in household of Robert HENRY & Marie-Magdelaine GODIN. There are four children: Martin, age 7; Marie, 5; Jean, age 2; and one child not yet baptized. There are 4 cattle, 10 sheep, no land listed. There is one gun.
