[He would fall between children #8 & #9.] The family resided at Ploubalay, Cotes-du-Nord, France until 1772 [before he was born]. On 12 Aug 1785 Jean-Baptiste is listed as next-to-last child in family of Pierre HEBERT & his [2nd] wife Susanne PITRE, with five other children aboard the ship "La Ville D'Archangel," embarked for LA on 3 Dec 1785.
!CHILDREN-CHRISTENING: The first four children were baptized at Assumption Parish, the fifth at Thibodaux. The next child was back at ASM, then child #7 and 8 at ASC. Children #9-12 were baptized at ASM, then last child at Thib.]
