Capt Johnson was in the War of 1812 and a son of a veteran of the Revolution, was a member of the large landholding French Hugenot family of that name of the Eastern Shore MD.

3rd.Child:; JANE ANN, born 1823,. married ASHLEY PLINEY Field: born 1818: left Bellevue, Iowa, and homesteaded in Jewell County, Kansas, in 1871. Jane Ann died in 1885. Ashley died in 1894.
