Hi Jim,

Can't recall if I have contacted you before, but I have been tracking John & Anna for sometime because I believe that they are siblings of my ggg grandparents, David & Jane/Jennet ALLISON Gray.

In recent weks I have found proof of marriage for both couples in Lexington, Fayette Co., KY. They were married a day apart, solidifying, in my mind, that there is a close connection. From there, both couples went to Nicholas Co., Ky. Am told that 1800 census has them in proximity to one another.

Jane Allison was born 11 Nov. 1771.....easily fitting between Mary in 1769 and Sarah in 1776. I believe Charles (the father) died in 1787 and know that Mary is the only dau. named in his will.

If you are interested in my hypothesis I would welcome hearing from you. Do you know where the birth year of 1768 for Anna comes from......is it a guestimate? She died in 1838. David was born July 20, 1768.
