    Another one of the Cedar County's old settlers has passed over the river. James Wymer, Jr., the subject of this notice, was born in Muskingum County, Ohio, November 8th, 1840 and died April 7, 1895. He enlisted in Company D, 11th Iowa Infantry on September 17th, 1861 and was mustered out at Louisville, Kentucky, July 15, 1865. He leaves a wife and nine children and two brothers to mourn their loss. The funeral was conducted at the home by the writer.
