Fothergill, p. 74-75. Will dated 16 October 1710, recorded 6 September 1711. To James Field son of Elizabeth Field, negro and tobacco; Brother and sister Capt. Richard and Elizabeth Craddock, 2 servants and money in England; sister Jane Butler, silver hilted sword of my father Butler; Mary Baxter 500 lbs. tobacco and Joseph Merkes 40 shillings. Executor, brother Robert Vaulx and also the remainder of the estate.
