- pg. 3. Will of James Slone (X) of Augusta County dated Oct. 7, 1789.
- Wit: Hugh Keys, William Moore, and Samuel McDannald.
- Probated Jan. 1792 Court.
- Exec: Jennet Sloan (wife) and John McClung.
- Beq: 1/3 of personal estate to wife.. the whole to youngest son Andrew when of age.. equal shares of personal estate to children as they marry.. land to whatsoever child executors think worthy of it when the youngest comes of age.. to son William "the mare he now claims with a saddle and bridle".
- pg. 4 - bond of 1,000 pounds by Jennet Slone (X), John Oliver and Nathan Crawford as executors of James Sloan will, Feb. 16, 1792, to Samuel Vance, JOhn Silson, John Bollar, John Dean, Samuel Shrewsbury, James Robinson, William Crawford, Robert Sitlington, gentlemen justices of Bath. John McClung also Bonded.
