    Ancestry.com Public Member Trees identify the James Seslar who married Christiana Vick with the James Seslar who was the son of Jonas and Catharine Seslar in the 1850 census (in spite of a discrepancy in age of 3 years between the 1850 census and the 1880 and 1900 censuses). The 1860 census, in which he is living with Cristina, ties these records together - his age there also suggests he was born about 1835.
