Facts and Events
Name James Monroe Morrow
Gender Male
Birth[1][2] 24 Aug 1878 Randolph Co, AL
Alt Birth[3] 24 Aug 1879 Randolph Co, AL
Death[3][4] 14 May 1955 Memphis, Shelby Co, TN
Burial[4] Phil Campbell, Franklin Co, AL

J.M. Morrow, son, age 47, served as special administrator of G.A. Morrow’s estate. He is living in Phil Campbell (Franklin Co) during the estate administration in 1919. There is a James Monroe Morrow in Marion Co, AL, b. Aug 1878 (so an even year off of this Monroe’s age in the 1880 census), whose death certificate lists his parents as Joe and Elizabeth. There are no appropriate census records for Joe and Elizabeth, and this man lived within 5 miles of Phil Campbell and was buried there. As much as it’s not reasonable for the family of a man who was involved with his parents’ estates for many years (his father’s estate was re-probated in the early 1920s after Georgia’s death), he died over 30 years later, and after his wife.
