Re: Benton Co,MO found Mar 8,1889-James Leeper of the Clark's Sulphur Spring vicinity was in the federal service eleven years including the Mexican War and his service in the Civil War. 4 Dec 1893, died James Leeper, age 69. served in CW in Co G., 35th Iowa Cavalry. Leaves a wife and four children, the latter grown.
