Will Abstract
- July the 25, 1814 [Written].
- James Kerr of Iredell in the State of North Carolina
- Names his beloved wife Jane.. leaves her the third of the same land I now live on during her natural life.
- Names Sally his Daughter, leaves her a third of the stock and four hundred acres of land he bought from J. Patton.
- I also give unto my daughter three Negroes (Viz) Jake, Beck and Mage
- Unto my son Alfred I leavethe remainder of my real and personal property.
- Proven May Term 1816

this source says James was born in 1743, but 1745 seems more plausable taking his baptism date into account.
