Contributed by Dr. Anthony Troha: The New-York Spectator, Friday, March 7, 1828, Page 3, Column 2: “DIED. On Saturday evening [i.e. Saturday, March 1, 1828], Mr. JAMES T. JACKSON, SOD [sic: SON] of John Jackson, Esq.”

Unfortunately, there is no place of death or interment information given. I would guess that he died in Brooklyn and was buried there, but that is just pure conjecture.
