!BURIAL: St. Patrick's Catholic Church Interment Records; 22 April, 1863 ; Record states death was on 20 April, 1863 and he was 84 years of age at time of death. Rev. J. Murphy conducted the burial service.

!BAPTISM_CONFIRMATION: The ordinances of baptism and confirmation were performed for James in the Washington D.C. Temple on 12 November, 2005. The youth of the Denbigh Ward, of the Newport News Virginia Stake, were proxies for these ordinance during an excursion to the temple for baptisms for the dead.
