Bill F Avery <bavery@cswnet.com> Said: Name: James AVERY 1 Sex: M Birth: 15 JUN 1805 in Tenterden, Kent Co. England 2 Note: 01 March 1997- LDS Church library/ Hot Springs Ar. In researching records at the above library, I found 31 Christening records for various Averys in Tenderden Presbyterian. Since the Christening records listed the parents, I was able to group families together and based on this information I could pretty well determine the probable bloodline to our family. This information was later confirmed in correspondence received from Linda Beckett of Afton, New York. James Avery was Christned 28 Jul 1805.

Thomas was born in 1777 and married an Ann (unknown last name). They had 5 sons, John 1801, Wm. 1802, Charles 1804, James 1805 and George 1808. Thomas's father was Simon Avery born 1747 and married a Sarah (unknown last name).
