I, Jacob Tuller, of the Town of Simsbury, in the County of Hartford, and now engaged to go in the expedition against the French of Cape Breton, and being at present of perfect health, mind and memory, do make this my last will and testament: My will is that my debts and funeral charges be paid out of my estate. I give to my wife Mary 1-3 part of all my personal estate, to be her own forever; and the use and improvement of my upper meadow lott during her life; also the use of my house and homelott during the time that she remains my widow; and also the use of 1-3 part of my pasture between the Phillips's so long as she remains my widow; and also the liberty to pasture two cows in my lott on the hill so long as not to pasture or feed the mowing land. I give to my son Elijah my lott on the hill that I bought of John Moses and Caleb Moses; also all my land in the upper end of the meadow called my upper meadow lott, provided he pay to my daughters the sum of £100 money equall to the old tenor bills that now pass. I give to my son Jacob my house and homelott and my lott in the long meadow, provided he pay unto my daughters the sum of £50 money equal to old tenor bills as above mentioned. I give to my two sons Elijah and Jacob my land between the Phillips's provided they pay to my daughters their several portions hereinafter expressed. I give to my daughter Mary £10 bills of credit in the old tenor, besides what she hath already received, to be paid her by my son Elijah. I give to my daughter Sarah £60 in value of the old tenor bills, to be paid her by my son Elijah. I do give to my daughters Martha and Elizabeth, to each of them, the sum of £50 equal in value to bills of credit in the old tenor, to be paid them: £10 by my son Elijah and £50 by my son Jacob, and the remainder of their portions to be paid by my two sons equally. I give to my dafters Sibel and Ede and Deborah and Mabel, to each of them £60 in money equal to old tenor bills, to be paid them by my two sons Elijah and Jacob. I give my land in the West Mountains, in the last division, to my executors hereafter named, to be sold by them towards the paying of my debts. All the rest of my estate, real and personal, I give to all my children, to be equally divided among them. I appoint my wife Mary and my two sons Elijah and Jacob to be my executors.
