    13 Nov 1797: Esther Read declines administration on estate of her late husband Jacob Read and requests Joseph Goodnow and Isaac Read be given the trust.
    14 Nov 1797: Bond of Joseph Goodnow as administration on estate of "Jacob Read late of the Same Sudbury Gentleman Intestate deceased".
    16 Dec 1797: Inventory taken $7201.30 plus some "Bad notes" and "old paper money notes"
    11 Jun 1798: Inventory of Real Estate, set off dower to "Esther Read (Widow of the Said Deceased)", to "Abel Read Eldest Surviving Son", to "Isaac Read youngest Surviving Son", Abel to pay his sisters Sarah & Eunice & his sister Ruth, and Isaac to pay the guardian of the children of his brother Jacob deceased, viz. Micajah, Asahel, Charlotte, Hannah & Betsey, and guardian of Asahel [sic] son of his sister Experience deceased.
