Minnie developed tuberculosis and was left in Arkansas when the family left for West Virginia in 1901 after sister Essa Emma died. She did recover and moved to Illinois where the family had settled af ter her father George's death in Indiana. Also Minnie, her mother and father were counted in a census in Iowa with George's brother Jacob Riggleman. Did they come there for her Tuberculosis or why? Minnie was engaged, but she died before she was able to be married. Minnie's tombstone in Tomlinson Cemetery is getting harder to read. "Asleep in Jesus, blessed sleep from which no one __________ (awakens?) a calm and undisturbed repose unbroken by the best of foes Death Certificate issued January 26, 1907, #2179 (1907) Age at date of death: 21 years, three months, 7 days
